Invoice App for House Cleaners: Recurring Homes, Move-Outs and Add-Ons

Invoice Hop is an iPhone, iPad and Android invoice app that turns one sentence into an invoice. Cleaners save their standard clean and add-ons once, then say “Invoice Priya, standard clean plus inside oven” after the visit. The customer gets a link, sees the total and pays by Zelle, Venmo or card.

A worked example: standard clean plus add-ons

Most cleaning prices are a base visit by home size plus add-ons. Saving both in the item list means you never retype a price. Here is a typical visit for a three-bedroom home with two add-ons, created by voice in the car before driving to the next customer.

You say: “Invoice Priya Patel, standard clean three bed two bath, inside oven and inside fridge”

  1. Standard clean, 3 bed / 2 bath: 1 × $160.00 = $160.00
  2. Inside oven: 1 × $35.00 = $35.00
  3. Inside fridge: 1 × $30.00 = $30.00
  4. Total: $225.00, due on receipt

Invoice Hop matches “standard clean three bed two bath” to the item you saved and uses your price. The prices above are an example; the app uses yours. Fields the AI filled in are highlighted, and nothing is sent until you tap Send.

If a customer asks for something new on the day, like inside the windows, add it as a new item while you are still in the house. It is saved with your price for next time, and the customer sees it on the invoice before you leave.

Recurring customers and move-out cleans

Weekly and every-other-week customers are the base of most cleaning businesses. Duplicate last visit’s invoice, change the date, and send. Move-out cleans are bigger one-off jobs, so send an estimate first and turn it into the invoice with one tap when the landlord or tenant approves the work.

You can see when a customer opened the invoice email and when they viewed the invoice page. If a regular customer hasn’t looked at it in three days, a quick text is usually enough.

Getting paid by Zelle, Venmo or card

Cleaning customers often pay from their phone right after the visit. Invoice Hop shows every way you take payment on the invoice page: a Zelle email with a Copy button, Venmo and Cash App links, and a Pay now button for cards if you connect your own Stripe account. The money comes straight to you.

  • Zelle: the customer copies your email or phone number from the invoice page.
  • Venmo and Cash App: one tap opens the app. Use a business account for business payments.
  • Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay: through your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its fee; Invoice Hop takes nothing.
  • If the customer pays outside the app, they can tap “I’ve paid” and you confirm it.

Your invoices, customers and prices stay on your phone unless you send an invoice link or turn on cloud sync. When you send a link, only that one invoice goes to our US servers so the customer can open it.
